Located 2 kms away from Granbell Hotel, Gangaramaya Temple is the most sacred and iconic temple within Colombo’s city limits. The temple is nestled in proximity to the Beira Lake in Colombo 2, where you’ll also find the temple’s meditation pavilion perched on the emerald waters. When visiting the Buddhist place of worship, it is imperative to ensure you are dressed modestly, covering your knees and shoulders. Footwear must also be kept outside before entering the premises.
